I knew we should have let America buy us a long time ago. lol

I knoooww right? Nakikisawsaw lang tayo eh. -_-

Jessica Sanchez doesn’t win American Idol and the Philippines wants a recount.

Okay. Modifiers.

Not the whole Philippines, you know, just a group that actually has nothing to with the America idol results in the first place. See article here:

BAYAN MUNA PROTESTS AMERICAN IDOL RESULTS. DEMANDS INVESTIGATION & RECOUNT

Let’s start with the basics. Note, the title is American Idol - this means that you need to be a bona fide citizen of America to be able to vote.

Hep! Question and answer portion!

Is the Philippines part of America? NO.

Are the citizens of the Philippines citizens of America? NO.

Are the members of the Bayan Muna organization citizens of America? NO.

SO. In conclusion the Philippines has nothing to do with American Idol.

Before you curse at me and wish dreadful things to happen to my life! - UNDERSTAND, that Jessica Sanchez is PARTLY Filipina, and that is only by basis of blood - for culture, language, values - we can’t say because WE DON’T KNOW HER PERSONALLY.

The Philippines (as a country and as a people) have nothing to do with her ACTUAL TALENT. She’s made it this far because of herself - not because millions of Filipinos choose to bask in someone else’s glory.

And identifying oneself to an popular icon because she shares your blood is understandable.

But this, this is ridiculous.

Do not think for one second that she owes anything to us.

Remember. She’s also part Mexican.

And she grew up in the United States.

That is her home.

It is disgusting just how far our kind of people would go - the Philippine population, and the Philippine media especially, have the nasty habit of tracing every Filipino blood from people who are famous, or who have made it. Only to claim a certain amount of ownership to their talent and accomplishment when it was their own hard work that got them there.

Because the very claim that her talent comes from us is just as likely as claiming that a person’s disease comes from us as well.

If we attribute an individual’s characteristics to their home country then why must we be so discriminating about it?

“Will a Filipina finally be the next American Idol?”

NO. It is technically impossible for a Filipino/a (or any other citizen of any other country for that matter) to win AMERICAN IDOL.

Animal rights protester agrees to be tortured
A YOUNG woman agreed to be tortured in full public view to try and end animal testing.
Jacqueline Traide, 24, was dragged, tied prodded, force fed and subjected to all manner of cruelty in front of hundreds of shoppers, Mail Online reports.
Jaqueline endured ten hours of injections, being smothered in different lotions, having her hair shaved and irritants being squirted into her eyes as part of a world-wide campaign by Lush and The Humane Society International.
The stunt took place in a Lush store window on London’s Regent Street, one of the UK’s busiest shopping precincts.
Passers-by were stunned by the display, with many stopping to take photos and record the gruesome spectacle with their phones.
The Humane Society says animals are routinely tested in this manner for make-up and perfumes.
